When we arrived to work to day we were in for a surprise. There are already 5 people camping outside of the store to get the ?uestlove AF1's on Saturday. Two of the people even drove from San Antonio, TX. to get the first spot in line. The rest of the campers range from Houston to our home town of Lafayette. Grab a chair and come get in line! (oh yea that's a love seat in the front. haha)
P.S. We will give anyone in line a saved spot from 8pm to 6am Friday to go to the Curren$y show tonight. |

Damn.. we all remember sitting down at the computer on July 18.. just coming in from sweating balls outside.. only to log into hypebeast to do our daily sneaker info thing.. to see the flyer of the ?uestlove Air Force 1.. Not thinking much about it.. just another AF1 right?.. HELL NO.. 5 days later they hit us with the pic.. and FUCK.. def one of the dopest AF1's done in a very long time (Huf AF1 still has my heart).. so if this AF1 release couldnft get any better.. Hypebeast releases a lil' more info about a "goldtoe" version only to release 25 in the mix of the so told "300" ?uestlove's total.. The lucky 25 that snag a goldtoe pair also get the regular pair.. and a free trip to The Roots show.. def the coolest shit Nike has done for a shoe release.. Politics is taking care of everyone that couldn't make the release is N.Y. and LA.. Aug 16.. doors open at 11.. 1st come 1st serve so a camp out is a must, 12 pair total, and you know I'm getting mine.. if you see me.. come say whats up.. and if you want to be lazy.. and wanna ebay a pair.. expect to pay about $700 to $1,000 for a regular pair.. and a nice smooth $2,500 for a goldtoe pair..
