In the 90s, PUMA added to the visual technology craze with Trinomic: clear rubber hexagonal cells that collapsed and expanded to cushion, ¬flex, and stabilize. The technology popped up in star trainers such as the R698, Disc, and Blaze of Glory to form the coveted (and comfortable) Trinomic family.
