Tre’Jan Vinson, co-founder of KOK, and his three fraternity brothers turned their business dream into a reality with a lot of hard work and determination. KOK Wings & Things had very humble beginnings, starting from cooking in their college home, to setting up tents at local fairs, to a food trailer built by one of the co-founder’s dad, and now being a Lafayette staple for chicken wings, loaded fries, and a good time. Since 2017, they have opened 3 locations, with an upcoming location in Baton Rouge. Being originally from New Orleans, he is very thankful for ending up in Lafayette and the amazing support that the community has given. “So many people contributed from Lafayette and made us feel like we belonged here. I can not be more thankful for Lafayette.”
