We had the honor of teaming up with Jordan Brand to curate the Zion 3 'Sanctuary' in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Zion 3 ‘Sanctuary’ is limited to 500 numbered pairs, only at Politics. This story is inspired by Zion’s off-season routine. Unlike many of today’s players, who love to shine in front of the cameras and showcase every work on social media. Zion prefers to put the work in, in silence. Every summer he returns to his hometown, and puts in the work in a small church gym. This is his safe haven, his sanctuary.
THURSDAY, NOV 30TH
Thursday afternoon we had the privilege of surprising Bricolage Middle School and St. Augustine High School with pairs of the Zion 3 'Sanctuary' hand delivered by Zion Williamson himself. Thank you to those who attended last night's 'Members Only' event and got a first look at the Zion 3 'Sanctuary.
FRIDAY, DEC 1ST
On Saturday we had the privilege of hosting a Q&A session with New Orleans legend Curren$y plus sounds curated by Joe Blvck, We also had complementary flash tattoos from the super dope Devin Hitt with purchase of the Zion 3 ‘Sanctuary’, & an NBA2K Tournament with prizes amounting to over $1000.
SATURDAY, DEC 2ND
We kicked off the weekend with a Pelicans vs Spurs Pregame with sounds by DJ TREYYLB at 5 PM. The Pregame event included complimentary beverages and Jordan Brand Jersey customization with purchase of the Zion 3 ‘Sanctuary’. We also had some of our favorite local buisnesses 90's Kid Closet & Life Line Studios in-store showcasing their brands.
