The Politics Collegiate Collection is launching online and in-store at our Baton Rouge and Austin locations on Monday, September 2nd, at 9 AM CT. We’re showcasing schools from our home state of Louisiana and our second home, Texas, with these university-themed pieces. The collection features high-quality headwear from 47 Brand and premium cotton tees, just in time for the big games. We also spotlight college superstars Cam Carter and Derek Williams Jr. in our campaign to represent their universities and showcase the new gear.
Cam Carter, a 6-3 guard from Donaldsonville, Louisiana, is set to bring his talents back home by joining LSU for the 2024-25 basketball season. A standout in the Big 12 with Kansas State, Carter started all 70 games and averaged 14.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game last season. His journey includes a stint at Mississippi State and a career-high 28-point game highlighting his scoring ability. Known for his tenacious defense and clutch play, Carter is ready to make a significant impact for the Tigers this season.
Derek Williams Jr., a second-year defensive back for the Texas Longhorns, is poised for an impact as football season approaches. As a freshman, he appeared in all 13 games, recording 42 tackles and two pass breakups. Derek was a highly-rated recruit with All-America and state championship honors from is high school seasons in New Iberia, Louisiana. Williams is expected to be a key defensive player this season for the Longhorns.
