Job Overview
Politics is looking to build its team with a Warehouse Associate who can work together with a team to champion the Sneaker Politics 'Customer First' philosophy by providing support to our receiving and fulfillment processes. The Warehouse Associate maximize warehouse performance by assisting in daily operations processes.
Duties and Expectations
Daily tasks for this role are subject to change on a regular basis, but within the scope of assisting and taking lead as needed on all things related to online sales and distribution of products.
• Receiving incoming shipments, stocking shelves, and performing cycle counts
• Locating and extracting merchandise from shelves and storage areas.
• Confirming merchandise information matches that of the order.
• Inspecting the merchandise for damage, flaws, and irregularities.
• Packing the merchandise for delivery.
• Transporting the packed items to the delivery trucks.
• Ad-hoc activities include driving company vehicle to make deliveries
Knowledge and Experience
• Applicants should have reliable transportation and a valid US drivers license
• Vigorous attention to detail
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, climb a ladder, and lift a 30 lb. box overhead.
• Willingness to learn and work as a team
• GED or high school diploma.
• Flexibility to work a varied retail schedule: weekends and holidays depending on business needs.
