Founded in 2021 by Jake Gatewood, Take A Break is a community for connection, exploration, and discovery centered around high-quality events that offer a safe and welcoming space for all. Rooted in house and disco music, its goal is to spread its universal sound—a language everyone can feel and understand. This Saturday, 11/23, from 6-10 PM we will have an exclusive Take A Break experience at Double D’s in Partnership with New Balance featuring house music sets by Jake Gatewood, Lakim and Jasmine Messiah.
