Oakley Outpost Opening
To give our community a first look at the Oakley Icon Outpost, we invited at select group to partake in an athlete led panel with Alvin Kamara. Attendees were surprised with a gift bag which included Oakley Players Collection eyewear, and co-branded Oakley x Politics swag.
New Era Community Happy Hour
To kick off championship weekend, we hosted a happy hour with New Era to bring our New Orleans community together with friends and family in town for the big game.
New Era In-Store Experience
To give our community something special, we partnered with New Era to offer an in-store hat customization experience from February 7th through 9th. Customers were able to purchase any New Era hat in-store and select their favorite New Orleans inspired patches, which were heat-pressed by Politics' very own SaucePanDan—at no extra cost. Additionally, customers who purchased a Politics x NFL fitted hat could enter a memorabilia sweepstakes, with a chance to pull a matching player card attached to signed headwear from NFL stars like Josh Allen and Micah Parsons.
NOLA Voices Brunch
To support New Orleans community we hosted a New Orleans brunch with our community where attendees we’re gifted the Nike Air Max DN8, Oakley eyewear, and other goodies.
Nike Diamond Turf Release
Nike has brought back a legend with the Air Diamond Turf “Signing Day,” inspired by Deion Sanders’ iconic 1989 NFL Draft look. We had the opportunity to release this sneaker early for Championship Weekend, and Deion himself stopped by our New Orleans store for the special release. After grabbing his limited-edition Varsity Jacket, designed by Politics and Nike, he signed a few pairs for lucky fans and even filmed an episode of Sneaker Shopping with Complex.
Nike Dreamboat & Watch Party
To celebrate this tremendous weekend of sports we partnered with two of our favorites venues for the best happy hour and watch party experience for our community and out-of-towners.
We had an amazing time bringing exciting activations and events to the city of New Orleans for Championship Weekend and we can't wait to do it big in NOLA again with our amazing community.
