AUSTIN

In June of 2018, Politics took its first steps outside of Louisiana when we opened our initial Texas location in downtown Austin. With its iconic music scene, delicious dining options, and vast cultural diversity, Austin isn’t foreign from our usual locale and we were able to acclimate quickly. It’s impossible to get bored in Austin and there’s countless things to do near our store location including paddleboarding in Lady Bird Lake, enjoying Zilker Park, or grabbing a drink on 6th street. Notably, we were able to take advantage of Austin’s premiere music festival, SXSW, in 2022 by collaborating with the San Antonio Spurs during week 1 and hosting a Woodstock-themed installation to launch the Concepts x Nike Air Force 1 ‘Mellow’ and ‘Heavy’ during week 2.
