The Nike Air More Uptempo '96 is Wilson Smith III's loudest piece of work, and Nike has never tried to quiet it down. The word AIR runs the full length of the upper at a scale nothing else in the catalog has matched. Blow-molded Air units sit underneath, doing the work the graphics distract from. It has been Scottie Pippen's shoe since 1996 and still wears like it.
