The Nike Shox BB4 returns an original colorway from 2000, and the purple in the Shox pillars is the reason it matters. Lapis lines up with the Toronto uniform Vince Carter was wearing at the time. Eric Avar's design runs black across the forefoot with metallic silver through the side panels, four columns standing exposed in the heel. It reads as futuristic now for the same reasons it did then.
