Finding a place in between high fashion and eccentric streetwear in the early 2000s, Scott took footwear collaborations in to some stange and creative places, from cowboy boot-sneaker hybrids, to his world-recognized winged designs. That latter theme, though once overplayed, will now return in 2021, when Scott delivers a homage-packed release to resume his partnership: the Jeremy Scott x adidas Forum Wings 1.0 "Money"
Scott, who serves as the creative director at Moschino in addition to running his namesake label, started out with the brand back in 2003, when 100 pairs of money-printed Forum sneakers were made for his fashion show in Los Angeles. 10 years later, he honored the anniversary with a special-edition Forum High Wings 2.0 that was once again clad in cash. Fast-forward another eight years, and Scott revisits the theme, this time on a forward-facing wing delivery across both the High and Low cut of the Forum. Though the Wing design has changed, much stays the same from the 2013 release, with light beige leather uppers lined with a collage of cash (featuring Scott’s face), a tonal set of beige laces and sole units, and deep green detailing at the lateral and tongue Trefoils, rear clips, medial Three Stripe overlays, and leather liners. Jeremy’s signature rides the midsole at the medial ankle, whilst co-branded insoles complete the design.
