On 4/28 we shutdown the street for the first Jordan Brand x Politics block party along with a special Jordan Brand x Politics release. The Air Jordan 3 Katrina didn't officially release until May 12th, 2018 but we launched this Legendary Louisana shoe early in New Orleans at our Block Party with Jordan Brand. This exclusive Jordan 3 came with special green laces and a Limited Edition Jordan Brand x Politics Hangtag and sticker. We also released an exclusive Jordan Brand x Politics Clothing Capsule as well as 'Quick Wipes' courtesy of Jason Markk and Sneaker Politics.
Our Block Party was from 11 AM - 1PM at our New Orleans Chartres St. Location. It was hosted by Brandon "BMike" Odums and DJ Digital kept the crowd moving all day. We also had special performances by Juvenile, Bun B, Pell and Neno Calvin as well as a live painting experience by Jarrad Mckay also known as Ary by Jay. We had a great time curating this experience and are thankful that Jordan Brand allowed us to do this exclusive early release of an iconic Louisana Air Jordan sneaker.
